We Want Them Back —
transmedial Knowledge Transfer
During the initial phase of the project, strategies for knowledge transfer were meticulously planned and designed, drawing upon findings from a scientific report addressing human remains in German institutions from colonial contexts.
Subsequently, in the second phase, an interactive database was established. This database, which is rooted in the insights garnered from the scientific report, is structured to be maintained by designated editors. It is integrated with an application that enhances accessibility, searchability, and visualization of the data. This application serves as a valuable resource for descendants seeking to trace their ancestral lineage, providing a robust tool to initiate their search.
